Prep Work in Oceanside
Days 1 & 2, June 9 - 10
Kirk and the crew are all geared up and ready to go! Here are behind-the-scenes shots as the team prepares for the starting line. Sunday was spent mentally preparing for the days that lie ahead. The day started with a team breakfast at Denny's in Oceanside, CA followed by prepping the crew car, a Crew Chief meeting (led by RAW President and CEO, Fred Boethling), and finally meeting with Kirk’s entire crew. This morning, the team stocked up on much-needed supplies at Walmart, including snacks! The prep work is done and all that is left to do get to the starting line and start pedaling for the children of Casa de Esperanza!
