Gift Acceptance Information
Casa de Esperanza can accept monetary donations by credit card, check, and cash. We also accept donations made through charitable vehicles such as Donor Advised Funds (DAF), gifts of appreciated stock, IRA rollovers, and bequests. Please contact us with questions about any of these charitable vehicles.
Our FundingCasa de Esperanza is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, which relies entirely upon the generosity of the community. One hundred percent of the operating budget is raised from private sources. No government or public funds are accepted, nor is Casa affiliated with the United Way. No fees are charged for any of Casa de Esperanza's services. Casa de Esperanza meets the Better Business Bureau's Guides for Giving and is listed in the Better Business Bureau's Report on Philanthropy in Houston.
Casa de Esperanza is committed to the responsible use of personal information collected from potential employees, foster parents, volunteers, donors and others who provide such information to us. The responsible use of personal information requires that Casa de Esperanza respect individual privacy, protect against identity theft and other unauthorized uses and comply fully with all laws and government regulations in the collection, use, storage, display, distribution and disposal of such information. Authorized use of personal information within Casa de Esperanza is limited to those which (a) are necessary to meet legal and regulatory requirements; and (b) facilitate access to services and information.
