Programs and Services

While ensuring a safe and loving home for children in placement, Casa de Esperanza provides a comprehensive array of services to meet the medical, psychological, and developmental needs of these children whose lives have been disrupted by abuse, neglect, homelessness, poverty, substance abuse, and HIV-infection.

How We HelpResidential Program:

Provides a safe, loving and nurturing family-centered home for young children in crisis, as well as comprehensive medical, psychological and developmental services.

Fort Bend County:

Staff members, volunteers, foster parents, and adoptive parents expand the mission of Casa de Esperanza to the children of Fort Bend County.

Adoption Services:

While the majority of the children served by Casa de Esperanza return to their biological family, adoptive placement is provided when family reunification is inappropriate or impossible.
The Post-Adoption Program offers support, training and respite services to adoptive families.

Outreach and After-Care Program:

Supports families during a child's transition from placement at Casa de Esperanza back to his or her home and monitors the family reunification process for as long as necessary. The primary goal is to ensure the continued safety and well being of the child after his or her return to the birth family.

Medical Services:

The In-House Medical Clinic helps to monitor and stabilize the unique medical needs of children admitted to Casa de Esperanza.

Developmental and Psychological Services:

Casa de Esperanza's Developmental Center was established in 1985 to address the many developmental and emotional problems of children placed at Casa.

Educational Services:

Casa de Esperanza provides Casa Academy and Casa Preschool to meet the developmental and educational needs of school-age children in our care who are not appropriately served in traditional classroom settings.

It is the policy of Casa de Esperanza that no family is charged for services provided by the agency.
