While ensuring a safe and loving home for
children in placement, Casa de Esperanza provides a comprehensive array of
services to meet the medical, psychological, and developmental needs of
these children whose lives have been disrupted by abuse, neglect,
homelessness, poverty, substance abuse, and HIV-infection.

Residential Program:
Provides a safe, loving and
nurturing family-centered home for young children in crisis,
as well as comprehensive medical, psychological and developmental services.
Fort Bend County:
Staff members,
volunteers, foster parents, and adoptive parents expand the mission of Casa de Esperanza to the children of Fort Bend County.
Adoption Services:
While the majority of the children served by
Casa de Esperanza return to their biological family, adoptive placement is
provided when family reunification is inappropriate or impossible.
The
Post-Adoption
Program offers support, training and
respite services to adoptive families.

Outreach and After-Care Program:
Supports families
during a child's transition from placement at Casa de Esperanza back to his
or her home and monitors the family reunification process for as long as
necessary. The primary goal is to ensure the continued safety and well being
of the child after his or her return to the birth family.
Medical Services:
The In-House Medical Clinic helps to monitor
and stabilize the unique medical needs of children admitted to Casa de
Esperanza.
Developmental and Psychological
Services:
Casa de Esperanza's Developmental Center was established in 1985 to address
the many developmental and emotional problems of children placed at Casa.
Educational Services:
Casa de Esperanza
provides
Casa Academy
and
Casa Preschool to meet the developmental and educational needs of school-age children in
our care who are not appropriately served in traditional classroom settings.
It is the policy of
Casa de Esperanza that
no family is
charged for services
provided by the agency.
